  10. Wordpress is arguably the best content management system one can use to build your online business.Because of the fact their are so many things you can do to optimize a Wordpress blog using various plugin’s and themes that will enable you to pull in traffic like crazy.

Steve Anderson does a fantastic job and is very knowledgeable with Wordpress,I followed his video tutorials in the back office and was able to get my Wordpress blog up in no time.

Wordpress does come with a slight learning curve, but again Steve does a great job of breaking it down in the traditional fashion that Renegade Professional is known for.The majority of these webnar’s are recorded and I’m sure will be made available in the future.

  13. I sign up to register. It brings me to page with the GoToWebinar link. It says click here for the seminar. THEN IT IMMEDIATELY switches to the PDF download. I keep registering to get back to the page with the webinar link and the page immediately points to the PDF document. What’s up with that? I have not received an email with the proper link either. How am I supposed to log on for the webinar tonight? Has anyone tested this registration process out yet?

    Comment by Jim — July 2, 2009 @ 1:19 pm

  14. OK, I did finally receive the proper link and look forward to the seminar tonight at 9:00 PM East Coast Time. Thanks, Jim

The niche finding and how to grab the best domain name by using the google adwordstool brilliant! This tip alone can save somebody months and months of headaches. Wow!!

Thank you so much Steve! You Rock!

I am looking forward to the Tublr call.

  17. Steve.

    You’re ruining it for everyone.

How are the rest of us supposed to follow up on that stellar act?

What’s with all the OVER-DELIVERING of value and stuff?

    Sheesh. :D

On a more serious note, I’m proud of you, sir. That 90-minute webinar really could have been 3 or 4 separate webinars. Your personality shone through, and your technical acumen and teaching ability were unquestionable.

Very well done. Thanks for being a superb role model.

  26. Steve, you are so cool! Great job tonight, mate.

And boy, I was just doing a review of your blogs then taking the URL and inputting it into Google Adwords Keyword Tool so I could see which keywords were prominent on your site.

Then I took a keyword at a time and did a Google search. Guess what?! You are successfully ranking on Google page one for your desired keywords!

You are so qualified my friend. Thanks for sharing that with all of us Renegade Professionals.

And for those of you reading this who aren’t upgraded yet…even for those new to Renegade Professional, Steve has over 22 Wordpress tutorials in the back office that breaks everything down from A-Z in the now famous click by click style.

Thanks Steve for all you do. You’re a great example of an attraction marketer.

  27. Steve,
Excellent job on the webinar. I have been a low level WordPress users for months, have read a lot of information about the tool and watched ‘how-to’ webinars.

However, I’ve never seen someone put it together like you did. Seeing a bunch of puzzle pieces on the table feels daunting … having someone explain/show how the pieces fit together feels inspirational.

You are a great example of the ‘who’, ‘what’, ‘how’, … and ‘why’ of Renegade Professional for people that haven’t experienced it yet.

Keep up the good work - Steve and Eric!

  28. Hi!

Good webinar. As an overview, it was necessarily - and understandably - general. I’m looking forward to follow-up webinars that will go into practical details of implementing (related) strategies.

A few questions/comments left over from the webinar:

    1) What’s the URL of Steve’s blog?

    2) What are the similarities and differences between Attraction Marketing and Magnetic Sponsoring, pros and cons of each, etc?

    3) One of the more detailed follow-up webinars I’d like to see would be on niche market analysis: determining how commercially viable it might be to enter a niche; what minimum # of searches necessary to have potential worth going for; what maximum # of sites, beyond which market is too competitive (and/or analyzing just how strong or weak the top sites really are); how to properly analyze # of searches (daily or monthly) vs. the number of competitive sites out there, via Google (broad or exact) searches; how to select a primary and several (1, 2 or 3?) related long-tail KWs; how to pick a good (SEO-wise) DN; etc.

    4) Another might be the whole subject of PPC and a strategy for managing a PPC campaign.

Again, good job on last night’s webinar, and looking forward to more, in-depth webinars.

    Thanks,
    Richard Bowen

    Comment by Richard Bowen — July 3, 2009 @ 9:42 am

  29. Steve,

Great presentation! I love it when I get “firehosed” with more information than I can inculcate at once. It means there is a great upside to the learning involved and that only the persistent will prevail.

To clarify, if it was only 1 small step we had to take, then everyone would be successful. As it is, you laid out many steps (albeit clearly and concisely), so only the persistent will succeed.

Looking forward to much education, self-development and paradigm shifting.

If you are growing- you’re dying.

Thanks for an awesome presentation on WordPress and for showing the practical ways we can apply the power of WordPress to our attraction marketing pipeline.

I also loved your trick with the Google Adwords Keyword tool and GoDaddy’s bulk domain namer. Clever!!

  31. Steve,

Awesome job mate! The first video I watched in Renegade Professional was your video about uploading plugins and it was exactly what I needed. The minute monthly fee of Renegade Pro is a steal for the valuble “click by click” training it delivers. It delivers RESULTS!

I noticed once I uploaded the plugins, the traffic on my site stop, but is starting to pick up again. I think maybe people should watch your videos before trying to set up their own blog.

  32. Excellent webinar, Steve. Thanks Ann for inviting me. I’ve used WP for the past 2 months with a Thesis theme and have enjoyed the platform’s flexibility, but you really cranked it up a notch by pointing out the must-have plugins and the almost-essetial ones at all. Your SEO discussion was fantastic … many good ideas to ponder. Thanks again, everyone.

I would get so much more mileage out of it based on everything you taught us last night.

  36. Thanks Steve for a great webinar, i had to set my alarm for 1.30 am to make it, but it was worth it.
I was one of those who clicked when asked if they had a blog, the thing is i have just signed up with Squarespace through the video i looked at in Renegade Professional.

As i have only just recently signed up with Squarespace is it worth continuing with it, because i haven’t yet reached the click by click tutorials on wordpress.

I would appreciate some feedback on this please.

With the likes of Mike, Ann, Steve and Eric with us, i know at last, i have found what i have been looking for online.

Your webinar was fantastic. I have been wondering why wordpress was different. I am not ready to do a blog yet, but now I know more about wordpress and how to use it. The information on the niche and keywords was the best. Hope this is recorded so I can go back and review the keyword information.

  39. I have to add my thanks for this wonderful webinar. It was so much info because I am still learning all this tech stuff. As a Renegade Pro I was not aware you have 22 Wordpress webinars already posted.
Renegade Pro is so much like a university. Tons of classes on various subjects. Hard to know what to take. Yet at this university there is no time line, I can learn at my pace … and better yet, no grades. Just success in the future.

  43. What a great presentation. So much information. I’m really impressed and inspired.
I subsequently watched Lisa and Alicia’s presentation on “SBI Site vs. Blog.” I’m leaning toward the Site. But they also have incorporated a Wordpress Blog into their SBI Site. I don’t understand just how that works. but I hope I’ll find out once I get started with SBI.
I’m looking forward to your next session on Tumblr. Sounds like the ultimate solution to integrating all my info content on the Web.

My question is that I opened a Wordpress account several months ago but couldn’t get a contact page from Awebber to load so I switched to Blogger which worked fine. Is Wordpress much more functional than Blogger - should I switch? Thanks, Bill
